Why are you so angry? Calm down! Would you like to sit down to this wonderful turkey dinner? - June 23, 2008 10:04 PM
Yeah, I'm getting back into the swing of things after my time at home with Warren. I'm back at work (for 26 days), and I've got a number of entries in various states. Until I get some of these done,...
Paper Football, very clever! - April 25, 2008 8:48 AM
10 years I've been searching for this commercial. I referenced it in a random article title a long time ago on DBT, and it stayed the top hit for the phrase "Paper football, very clever" for a long time. Now,...
Rappelling at the University of Kentucky library - April 18, 2008 9:11 AM
The W.T. Young Library always made me want to jump off the balcony as well. Thanks to Jessica for sending me this!...
- ⇒ Premium Movie Leader Optimus Prime (link from Mar 21, 2008)
A short video showing the modifications we'll see in the upcoming "premium" Optimus Prime figure. Looks like that sword arm is extra-sharp, which is absolutely crazy for a Hasbro toy. It also looks like it's got a remolded head, and makes the classic G1 transformation sound when you activate the automorph feature.
- ⇒ The original ending to I Am Legend (link from Mar 20, 2008)
I'm thrilled to have found a site hosting the original ending for last summer's I Am Legend. This is the ending included on the special edition DVD, and it makes for a completely different film. It maintains the original meaning of the title, where the theatrical release makes the meaning far more generic. Like this reviewer, I loved the movie regardless, but if they'd released it with this ending, it would have been so much better
Generation One Optimus Prime - March 7, 2008 2:55 PM
I've realized that I can't do a review series of Optimus Prime figures without first taking a look at the original. When I speak of 'classic Optimus design elements,' it'd be nice to have something to link to. Of course,...
Twitter in Plain English - March 6, 2008 1:01 PM
So many people have mentioned in their congratulatory messages to me and Lori that they loved watching the updates from Warren's birthday on the Twitter. I've posted before, a couple of times, how I wish everyone I know would get...
Yet another exclusive Iron Man trailer - February 29, 2008 2:33 PM
Every trailer they release makes me pine for this movie more:...
Hulu: legitimate streaming TV - February 15, 2008 10:11 AM
So the other day, I discovered Hulu, which is apparently a legit streaming TV service. A little digging around on the site verifies that it is "an online video joint venture of News Corp and NBC Universal." Essentially, it's an...
Veronica dances - February 13, 2008 7:40 PM
We took Veronica to the aquarium in Newport today, and by the time we ate lunch, it was 3:00, and deep into what is normally her nap time. She spent the whole lunch either lounged out in the booth: Or...
- ⇒ Spongebob Voice-Overs (link from Feb 11, 2008)
The cast of Spongebob Squarepants (Tom Kenny, Rodger Bumpass, Carolyn Lawrence and Bill Fagerbakke), produced this beautiful voiceover for the Annie Awards, apparently to prove they shouldn't be stereotyped as their Spongebob characters. We Transformers fans don't think that Tom Kenny is typecast; he also plays a fantastic Starscream. Oh, wait.

Sideshow Collectibles. Scarlett is hot. Yo Joe.
- ⇒ Will it Blend? Transformers (link from Jul 10, 2007)
My favorite little viral marketing campaign takes on my favorite hobby. Who will win? Will it blend? Take a guess, then watch the video.
- ⇒ TV Links - Transformers G1 Archive (link from Jun 14, 2007)
For as long as it lasts, this site has every episode of Transformers Generation One available for online viewing. They've also got a metric ton of other television faire. How is this site still open? It's amazing!
- ⇒ iSquint - iPod video converter for Mac (link from Jun 8, 2007)
I spent about half an hour looking for a free Mac app I could use to get my avi files of Heroes onto Lori's iPod. This tiny app did a wonderful job.
